Our
sites are template based. Templates determine the basic
layout of your site pages (headings,
navigation buttons etc.). Each template will be
individually customised to your requirements with your
own content (logo, photographs, colour scheme etc.).
Template design and layout will be discussed with you
prior to site construction.
What
you will need
Domain Name
A
domain name is a way of identifying your web site online,
e.g. "www.mysite.co.uk". It gives you a unique identity
and allows others to find you on the World Wide Web.
Domain names tend to have different extensions, e.g.
.co.uk, .org.uk, .com etc., we can discuss the meaning of
these extensions with you and even help you purchase ,
set up and manage them.
Hosting
Wee
World Webs can host your site on our server space (a
space to store your site online). Depending on the size
of your site, we have a number of monthly hosting options
starting at just £4.99 a month for 2Gb storage.
Alternatively we can happily upload sites to any free web
space you may have from your Internet service provider,
however be warned that free web space servers tends to be
slightly unreliable.
What
we need from you
As
we construct and manage your site, you will need to think
about what content you wish to put on it.
This content will need to be supplied to us in an
electronic format
(alternatively we can type up your content from a
hard copy, supply photos and graphics for an additional
fee).
